General information about Mesopotamia

- These two rivers originate from the mountains of Armenia in the region of Turkey.

- These rivers feed on many tributaries in western Asia and in the eastern part of the Mediterranean

 In the Green Fertile Crescent region of Iraq.

- Fertile Crescent region is one of the most active areas in agriculture due to its unique location which contributed to the formation of the ancient Mesopotamian civilization.

 - In order to defend the water wealth of the inhabitants of the area they built a wall for their cities, and they extended the channels, and emerged many of the special areas, which were later called settlements.

- The civilization of Mesopotamia is one of the oldest human civilizations in existence at the time, where it witnessed several things, such as: the invention of writing, and access to many social laws
